Maverick Gaming Agrees To Buy El Dorado Shreveport For $230M

Maverick Gaming LLC announced today that it has entered into a final agreement from El Dorado Resorts Inc. to acquire El Dorado Resorts Casino-Shreveport, Louisiana, for $230 million. Once the deal is done, approximately 1,500 slots, 50 table games, over 400 hotel rooms and six restaurants will be added to the Maverick portfolio.

"Maverick continues to bet on various economies as it expands its gaming portfolio. The Dallas market has more than 7.5 million people, and Dallas includes the third largest concentration area in the United States among Fortune 500 companies. So far, Maverick's focus has been on the growing, vibrant and dynamic economies of Salt Lake City, Utah Seattle, Washington and Denver, Colorado. Maverick plans to fund the deal primarily with cash on hand and financing from private investment firms HG Bora Capital Management and Angelo Gordon.
